Our Story

Kia orana and welcome to the Coco Brush Dream.

Coco Brush Directors Juanita-Louisa Karora and Clare Jefferies bring to you the latest, unique, art and wine, experience to hit Rarotonga! What makes this so different? Both returning to their local roots from living in NZ, they wanted to make the most of their time here in the islands by combining their passion for arts and wine with their love for the natural beauty, the great atmosphere and the local island flavour of their homeland! Here is where the Coco Brush Dream was born.

Juanita-Louisa Karora, a Tauranga based artist and art teacher alongside her family made the move back to her father’s homeland of the Cook Islands. With a creative passion and desire to learn more about her rarotongan culture Juanita-Louisa makes up one part of the Coco Brush Dream.

“ The island needs more of their people to return home and support this precious gem. Its only by our own efforts and treasuring our culture will people understand and appreciate it”

Clare Jefferies Based in Tauranga and now returning back to the island with her family saw the need to bring such a night to the islands.

“I loved the experience myself which sparked my interest in teaming up with a talented artist like Juanita-Louisa.”
